Drone Swarm Specialist with AI Expertise

We’re looking for an exceptional Drone Swarm Specialist with AI expertise to lead our groundbreaking projects in autonomous drone technology. As a specialist in this field, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying drone swarms that harness the power of AI to achieve unprecedented results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drone Swarm Design: Lead the design and configuration of drone swarms for various applications, such as search and rescue, precision agriculture, infrastructure inspection, and environmental monitoring.
• AI Integration: Develop, implement, and fine-tune AI algorithms to enable autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition, and real-time decision-making for drone swarms.
• Flight Operations: Oversee and manage the simultaneous operation of multiple drones in swarm formations, ensuring optimal performance, coordination, and safety.
• Data Processing: Establish data pipelines for collecting and processing data generated by drone swarms, and work with AI models to extract actionable insights.
• Innovation: Stay at the cutting edge of AI and drone technology, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring these ideas to fruition.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that drone swarm operations comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and actively participate in risk assessment and mitigation efforts.

Qualities we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in drone swarm operations, including mission planning and execution.
• Proficiency in AI and machine learning techniques, with a strong portfolio of AI projects related to drones.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification (or equivalent for non-US roles).
• Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar).
• Knowledge of drone hardware, software, and communication protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.

Beneficial skills:

• Ph.D. or advanced degree in AI, robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with advanced AI technologies such as computer vision, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
• Previous involvement in research or development of autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of swarm intelligence and swarm optimization algorithms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and edge computing.
