New MDpay Product - MDpay HSM Plug-in for SAML
5.12.2006 Modirum MDpay has extended the
product offering to support the increasing use of SAML (Security
Assertion Markup Language) standard developed by OASIS. MDpay HSM
Plug-in makes it possible to utilise the MDpay HSM engine together with
SAML products or open source implementations. The standard product
includes a distribution, where MDpay HSM engine has been integrated to
OpenSAML, one of the most well-known open source SAML implementations.HSM Vendor Independent MDpay
HSM engine enables vendor-independent interface to major HSM products
in the marketplace. It has been originally developed to support 3-D
Secure protocol for authenticated VISA and MasterCard payments. The
engine is used by large number of financial institutions in high-volume
production environments and it has been integrated to products of all
major HSM vendors, usch as SafeNet, nCipher and Thales.Integrated to Open Source Implementations "MDpay
HSM Plug-in is the first product in the market-place, which enables
fast and HSM-vendor independent implementation of open source
implementations of SAML. With help of MDpay HSM Plug-in, the developers
can quickly build a high-volume production environment, which meets the
